Source & verification
Identified as the sitting Home Secretary via a dated Nepal Police news item (Bikram Sambat date 2083-05-24, roughly August 2026) describing an official inspection visit by "गृहसचिव केदारनाथ शर्मा" (Home Secretary Kedarnath Sharma) to Nepal Police headquarters. This is a Nepali-language primary government source, not a secondary summary. No English-language biographical detail was found and verified, so the biography field above is deliberately minimal rather than embellished. As with the minister field on the Ministry of Home Affairs record, this position has seen frequent turnover historically and should be re-checked before being relied on for any date significantly after lastVerified.
