Province existence, name, capital, and district count are well-established constitutional facts (the seven provinces were created by Nepal's 2015 constitution) and are treated as verified on that basis, even though the original source for those facts was a tertiary reference (Wikipedia) rather than a single official government portal — no one unified official website exists for Nepal's provincial structure the way moha.gov.np/mofa.gov.np exist for ministries. `leadership` was added in Phase 14 Batch 6, pointing at the real `hikmat-kumar-karki.md` record. `officialWebsite`, `email`, `phone`, and `address` were added in Phase 14 Batch 8, this time by directly fetching ocmcm.koshi.gov.np (the URL Batch 6 had deliberately left unused pending independent confirmation) and confirming it live, current, and displaying the same Chief Minister — closing that specific gap. The fetched page also named a Chief Secretary ("Narayan Prasad Bhatta") that does **not** match the name a Wikipedia infobox had suggested for a similarly-titled role ("Kedarnath Sharma", which is actually the real name of the unrelated federal Home Secretary from this project's Batch 1 data) — not recorded here since the `provinces` schema has no field for a second office holder, but flagged as a reminder that Wikipedia infoboxes for Nepali provincial offices have proven unreliable more than once in this project's research (see also the Batch 6 discrepancy note on this same page's `leadership` person record). Replaces `sample-province.md` as this project's first real province, though the sample entry has not been deleted yet (see the project's standing sample-retirement policy).
