Source & verification
Confirmed directly on Kathmandu Metropolitan City's own official website, which lists her as "Acting Mayor" with contact details, and cross-referenced against Wikipedia's "Mayor of Kathmandu" and "Sunita Dangol" articles for the appointment and prior-term dates. She is not linked to an `organizations` entry via the `organization` field — Kathmandu Metropolitan City is modeled in the `local-government` collection, not `organizations`, and no cross-reference field currently exists from `people` to `local-government`; the connection instead runs the other way, via `local-government/ kathmandu-metropolitan-city.md`'s own `leadership` field. Her title is recorded here using the `mayor` position (the taxonomy has no separate "acting mayor" value) — the acting status is documented in this biography instead.
